Due primarily to the Scout Paper Collection, the Scout Group is, and continues to be, well resourced.

We have our own Scout Hut situated within the village which comes with all mod cons, including kitchen, toilet and central heating!

To support our activities we also have a wide selection of equipment ranging from modern hiking tents and other camp equipment to compasses and a wide selection of maps.

We are fortunate that we own and run our own minibus and trailer. Every leader in the group will tell you what a massive difference this makes to the quality of the overall programme of activities we are able to offer. It give us easy access during the week to scout sites and activity centres within an hour of York and of course enables us to range far and wide when it comes to planning camps. And of course, as we own it, it enables us to keep costs as low as possible.
