1st Bishopthorpe Scout Group is fully mixed and girls and boys are welcome to join. There have been girls in the Scout section for quite a long time now, and just recently we welcomed our first girl Beaver. No doubt in the not too distant future we will see all the sections having both girls and boys. We have a mixed leadership team across all the sections.
